At Kick Foundation we take protecting your personal information during your use of our website very seriously and we are committed to taking all reasonable steps to ensure your information is safe and to comply with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). This Privacy and Cookies Policy relates to our use of any personal information we may collect from you while you are using any pages of our website www.kickfoundation.ch.

In principle, you can visit our website without having to provide any personal information. When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store each access in a log file. The following technical data is collected and stored until automatic deletion after seven months at the latest:

- performed search queries;

2. Google Analytics

Kick Foundation might use Google Analytics to collect data about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (these are data about your browser, your general location as determined from your IP address and provided by your browser, the site from which you come, and the links followed when leaving the site). Kick Foundation does not collect sensitive data such as health data of individuals. Kick Foundation might use your data for statistical and analytical purposes in order to administer the website or improve our products and services. This is done through the third-party Google Analytics (Google Inc.) which is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilises the data collected to track and examine the use of this website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.

Kick Foundation never shares your personal information with third parties beyond third parties performing services on our behalf.

 

3. Social Media Plugins

On the Kick Foundation website, you will find links to social media networks, specifically LinkedIn and Twitter. You can recognize the linking by the provider's logo. Clicking on the link opens the corresponding social media page to which this data protection declaration does not apply. For details of the provision applicable there, please refer to the corresponding data protection statements on the provider's website. Before calling up the corresponding link, no personal information is transmitted to the respective providers. Your calling up of the linked page is at the same time the basis for the data processing by the respective providers. We have no influence on the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing and the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of data by the plug-in providers.

 

C. Data Retention

Kick Foundation stores your personal information for as long as we deem it necessary or legally required. This is in relation to the personal data that you provide when contacting the foundation. You have the right to access the personal data we store about you.
You can contact us at any moment to request your data be modified or deleted. If you would like to access, review, correct, update or have your personal information deleted from our records, please contact Kick Foundation at info@kickfoundation.ch. Once your identity is confirmed, we will deal with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

1. What are Cookies?

We embed videos from our official YouTube and Vimeo channel using a privacy-enhanced mode. Kick Foundation doesn’t have direct access to those cookies and the use of those third-party cookies is governed solely by the respective service provider’s Privacy statement.
